It’s easy to take one look at Windemere Farms and fall in love with its stunning stone structure. The barn was built with function and good design in mind. When owners Jason and Ashley Roberts took a trip to Ireland (before their barn existed), they saw an amazing barn built out of rock with brick keying. It became their inspiration for Windemere Farms.
The rock used to construct the barn came from the property, making it even more special. The stone materials are fire safe and offer cooling properties to help beat the summer heat in San Marcos, Texas.
The facilities include a 16 stall barn, a 100×200 covered lighted arena, round pen, 6 horse Priefert panel walker, private turnouts, separate mare and gelding pastures, hot and cold wash racks, english and western tack rooms, and a climate controlled lounge with fridge and bathroom. The entire property is 200 acres with plenty of room to expand down the road.
Ashley and her father built the barn together in 2016.
Despite being a new barn, it looks like it has been there for years. Modern amenities include individual stall fans, a sound system throughout, a fly system, and all of the stall lights are run by a timer.
The mixed rock and stucco structure is absolutely stunning.
This is the lounge inside of the barn. It has a kitchen, living area, bathroom, and laundry room. Beautiful brick details run throughout the space and the space is well decorated.
The 100×200 covered lighted arena is maintained daily and offers optimal footing.
