I discovered Westphalian Stables on Instagram many months ago (follow @wstables) and immediately fell in love with their beautiful facility. Located in Riesenbeck, Germany this dressage and breeding stable is top notch.
Westphalian can be summarized in just one word, outstanding. Scroll through to learn more about this amazing horse property.
Currently Westphalian has 28 stalls, with plans to build another stable with 18 stalls.
The property is around 26 acres and is located in the middle of the horse world in Germany.
The modern and clean cafe gives riders a comfortable place to take a rest and relax between rides. It offers friends and family members a place to watch riders inside the indoor arena.
Alex Lukyanchuk from Westphalian gave me the scoop on this luxurious property. Lukyanchuk said, “We bought the place in 2013, than we did a two- year reconstruction in the riding hall, common area, stable, outdoor riding area, and horse walker. The co-owner of the place is an architect, so we decided to have not a ‘usual’ barn, we wanted something special. Something modern, functional and easy to use. At the moment we are not finished with the place, but our plan is to be ready in 2018. In my opinion, we have the perfect environment for horses and riders, big stalls with windows, big riding surfaces with watering systems and white sand, solarium, tack rooms, horse walker with longing pan inside and gallop track.”

This indoor riding arena is perfect for staying protected from the natural elements. It allows plenty of natural light to come through the roof and windows.
The arena is heated for those cold and dreary days.
Gorgeous dressage horses tucked inside their stalls.
