Careful planning brings out the best in this beautiful barn.
Quarry View Building Group is based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They recently completed this picturesque 12-stall barn in Massachusetts. The barn is 36′ x 96′ with two 12′ x 96′ lean-tos. The building process took about three months while the excavation and utility installation took a bit longer.
Thoughtful details were placed throughout the barn, but one of the best features remains unseen. Hidden under the beautiful wood walls and posts are the appropriate firewalls, so the barn loft can easily be converted into a spacious, 2,500 sq ft home.
The barn looks picture perfect with the woods behind it and the rock landscaping in front. This massive rock posed a great building challenge, which was ultimately a reward in the end for Quarry View Building Group. The clients did a wonderful job using the rock in their landscaping.
The exterior of the barn features 1′ x 12′ White Pine board and batten siding.
The inside of the barn is absolutely stunning. It features Yellow Pine throughout and upgraded pavers in the aisle. Custom arches above the stalls designed by Quarry View Building Group draw your eyes up. The rustic chandeliers were sourced by the barn owners.
Wash Stall
Behind the arch, the wash stall is nice and bright. It has vinyl truss core on the sides and ceiling.
Tack Room
The barn has a beautifully appointed 12′ x 24′ tack room with mounted saddle racks and plenty of storage space.
Thoughtfully placed hardware and accessories are found throughout the barn.
Thank you Quarry View Building Group for sharing your work with Stable Style.
This is the first 12-stall barn shared on Stable Style, but if you are looking for more large barns, be sure to check out this European Inspired 10-Stall Stable in British Columbia.

can’t believe leaving horses where they can start destroying the barn chewing on it.
