Reitanlage Wolfesing is an amazing equestrian facility in Zorneding, Germany (near Munich) owned by the Maier family. The family jokes, they use to be a normal family until their oldest daughter, Lisa-Maria fell in love with horses. She passed down her obsession to her younger sisters, Christina and Isabel.
Dr. Andreas Maier and his wife Ingrid Maier supported their daughters every ambition. Soon they found themselves deeply involved with horses and dreaming about owning their own riding center. In 2016 that dream became a reality for the family.
Their facility is modern, but still cozy. The property was designed to primarily host competitive jumpers but truly everyone is welcome from dressage to recreational riders.
The tack room within the stable is heated and kept locked with a security access code and it is well organized.
The stylish and modern lounge has a view of the covered riding arena. It’s a perfect for socializing, watching a workout or getting a snack homemade by Ingrid.
The indoor riding arena is filled with natural light and is a wonderful place to ride and get away from the weather elements.
This spacious grooming area features a solarium which can be used to dry horses and warm their muscles before riding.
There is plenty of space to ride and even a covered treadmill for the horses. It’s wonderful for helping a horse rehabilitate after an injury.
The horse walker can work up to seven horses at one time.
The outdoor arena is 40 x 70 meters. The moisture level of the footing is constantly measured and there is an irrigation system below to help keep the footing consistent and well maintained. You will be guaranteed excellent footing for every ride.
Reitanlage Wolfesing has plenty of paddocks and pastures for the horses to roam as well.
