Serene and peaceful are two words that come to mind to describe this horse property.
Miller Hollow Farm is located near Knoxville, Tennessee in Clinton. This small boarding facility offers a drama-free environment that’s perfect for spending quality time with your horse, thanks to a group of wonderful boarders. The 75 acre farm has been around since 1975, started by Jane Weaver. Jane’s son Steve and daughter-in-law Sheree Heatherly run the daily operations, while Jane still plays a part in teaching lessons and remains and active horsewoman.
The breezy 5-stall shedrow style barn features spacious 12’x18′ stalls using the Shetland stall fronts by Ramm Fence. The structure was originally garage, which was converted into a barn.
Hay and shaving storage is located on the far left, while the feed room is on the right, next to the wash rack.
Sizable ferns hang from above and beautiful pendant lighting accents the overhang.
The wash stalls feature a corrugated metal backdrop, adding an interesting detail.
The fans are from Ramm Fence.
Feed Room
The feed room has plenty of organizational storage, along with a sink and mini fridge. The sliding doors were made by Sheree and Steve. The glass belonged to windows from an old church that they found at a salvage store. They found some rusted tin back on the property and also added it to the doors, making a unique feature.
The island in the grain room is an old piece of furniture that fit perfectly in the grain room.
Shop Storage Solutions
This building is an old cabin on the property. Part of it is being used as a tack room, with plans to update it and add more tack lockers in the future.
Behind the red door is the tack room. The double doors open to more space, which will eventually be turned into twelve new tack lockers.
This adorable building is referred to as Jane’s Building – it houses some tack and is a hub for students taking lessons.
