The property has a spacious outdoor arena with mirrors, plenty of pasture, a hot walker and land for hacking out of the arena.

The modern and spacious stables were designed by António’s talented wife with an eye for design. Upon entering the space, it feels like a luxurious loft, then you realize you are in a horse barn.

The barn has six stalls inside. Everything was handmade by workers from the village, Arraiolos. The design was inspired by stables around the world. The black metal mimics chic stables in Wellington, Florida while other influences come from stables in the UK and Emirates. Grey goes with everything and adds a touch of sophistication. It’s much easier to keep clean than white.

There are two areas for tacking up horses plus a space for the vet or farrier with a 26 lamp solarium above. There are outlets and sink nearby for convince. The barn aisles are wide enough for a tractor or truck to drive through and into the barn.

The stalls all have full neck openings in the front and individual paddocks behind them. The rubber floors are easy to keep clean and the stalls have LED lighting which is fun and practical. The roof was built using traditional techniques from the south of Portugal. It offers isolation with the combination of tiles and the wood.
