All’s Well Farm is located in Marshall, Virginia – hunt country in the Northern part of the state. This private farm was completed by Blackburn Architects in 2010. The project included building an eight-stall barn, enclosed arena, and renovations to existing residence (kitchen expansion and new family room).
The equestrian property blends traditional shingle style architecture with a New England influence, in reference to the owners’ origins.
The beautiful stalls are by Lucas Equine Equipment, the rubber pavers keep the aisles safe.
The barn includes a tack room and lounge connected to the enclosed dressage arena. The observation lounge is slightly elevated off the tack room to provide space for relaxing and viewing the horse and rider.
Blackburn Architect’s design incorporated environmentally friendly materials and techniques. The arena roof is designed to eventually utilize solar panels to provide self-sufficient energy.
