A Tranquil Equestrian Facility Near Miami

Welcome to The Stock Barn, a pristine equestrian facility located in Homestead, Florida. With a focus on developing amateur, junior and professional riders, The Stock Barn’s enviroment allows horses and riders to thrive as partners. The thoughtfully planned facilities include a 20-stall barn, spacious outdoor arena, several paddocks, round pen, groundskeepers house, office with a viewing area, groom’s quarters and feed and storage rooms. Operating with safety and top of the line care in mind, the gated property has staff 24 hour staff on site.

While the stunning facility looks brand new, a careful remodel by designer Lucia Mingo in teamwork with Rosiel Herran and Janice Herran modernized the property to achieve a fresh and inviting style. The team of skillful designers worked together, utilizing a crisp color palette of whites, blacks and grays to unify the existing buildings and blend in new construction. The designers paid attention to the smallest details, from the light fixtures to hardware and barn door choices, upgrading the facility.

A gooseneck lamp and tall door doors with modern hardware make a statement on the barn’s exterior. The gooseneck fixture and interior hanging pendant lights are from Lamps Plus.

The light filled barn interior maintains a cohesive black and white aesthetic with rubber mats, matching tack trunks, pendant lights and a statement chandelier from Birchlane.

The custom stalls in the barn are over 50 years old.

Tack Room

The tack room has a polished black and white design with plenty of hooks and saddle racks. The center island is used for storage and tile flooring adds another beautiful design element.
