A spacious tack room features a custom tack island, saddle racks and cabinets.
When Patriot Farm in Saddle River, New Jersey called upon Vintage Millwork & Restoration to customize their new tack room, they already had a vision in mind. The clients envisioned an inspiring rustic space with natural stone and wood elements. Vintage Millwork & Restoration customized and built the tack island, saddle racks and cabinets, while the barn itself was built by their sister brand B&D Builders.
Patriot Farm is just under 40 acres and includes some wooded areas as well as 13 paddocks, an outdoor riding arena and a round-pen. The master construction plan was completed in stages, starting with the house, followed by some accessory buildings and finally the barn and indoor arena.

The tack room is spacious, measuring at 700 square feet.
Sapele mahogany wood, a beautiful dark brown grained lumber, was used for the pieces designed by Vintage Millwork & Restoration.
The tack room has 12 elegant saddle racks.
Vintage Millwork & Restoration’s work on the tack room took approximately 4-5 months to complete.
The attention to detail on every finished piece of wood is meticulous. Black hardware is used throughout, keeping the focus on the woodwork.
Tack cabinets and drawers offer everyone a chance to secure and store their belongings.
