As someone who appreciates good design and architecture, I can see beauty in any style. However southwest, modern, and mid-century styles really speak to me. I am just gushing over this southwest ranch in Santa Ynez Valley.

Whats not to love about this dreamy combination of stone, wood, and metal? The barn has an open feel with a lot of natural circulation thanks to California’s warm climate.
I love the exposed beams in the tack room and this large sliding barn door.
