This barn has room for horses and all of your husband’s stuff. 😉
Nestled in sunny California, a rustic multi-purpose storage barn from Sand Creek Post & Beam stands tall. Sand Creek Post & Beam is a leading manufacturer of custom designed post and beam wood barns. The family owned company is based out of Wayne, Nebraska. Their barns are popular with everyone from equestrians to wedding venues.
Featured here is the Ponderosa Country Barn with lean-to’s. The barn’s footprint is 48’x50′ and includes several upgraded accessories including sliding doors, dutch doors and a wood cupola.
The barn is built mostly of Red Pine and is stained to protect the wood from the elements. Hardy Red Pine will last for hundreds of years as long as the wood is stained or painted.
The barn was customized to meet its owner’s needs. The features include a tack room and inset feeders for the two equine residents, plus loft storage. The most unique feature of the barn is the walk-in cooler, since the barn is located on an almond farm.
A closer look at the inset feeders with sliding doors. This makes feeding a breeze and cuts down on wasted hay that might get stepped on outside. The horses do not have traditional stalls inside the barn.
A wide set of stairs takes you to the upper level storage loft.
Here is a closer look at the paddock area. The barn provides exterior shelter for the horses, offering shade from the sun or cover from the rain.
Here is a view of the barn from the back.
Sunset on the Barn
To the right of the barn is the flourishing grove of almond trees.
