Luxury Listing: Rooted on the River Ranch

Wide open spaces and the opportunity of a lifetime is waiting for you at Rooted on the River Ranch. This special ranch is now for sale and looking for a new family to enjoy it.

Watercolor Ranch Map

The picturesque property is located just outside of Cody, Wyoming and the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the tiny town of Meeteetse. The historic town has several Native American meanings, from “Meeting Place” to the most appropriate, “Place of Rest”. The ranch offers relaxation and tranquility. The Greybull River runs through the land, offering views of the Absoraka Mountain Range and an opportunity to be one with nature. From horseback riding to hiking, fishing and birdwatching, life is slower around here – and that’s a good thing.

The ranch has its own watercolor map hand-painted by the artist Ron Rogers. The map captures the vast property and is perfect for sharing with friends and family who are visiting from out of town.

Greybull River

The Greybull River runs for over a mile throughout the ranch. It’s known for the blue-ribbon fishing native to Yellowstone cutthroat trout. The property has two additional ponds that offer water for wildlife and waterfowl year-round. This much water in the West is a blessing. A newly installed pivot irrigation system waters the hayfields in the summer.

A Complete Package

Rooted on the River Ranch offers the chance to experience Wyoming and luxury living nestled among nature. The owners created a magical ranch and hired the best artisans to construct the buildings, manage the layout and perfect the design. The property comes with a herd of beautiful registered Gypsy Vanner horses, known for their amazing personalities and distinct traits. This is an amazing breeding opportunity.

Additionally, boutique cattle include Angus crossed with Wagyu and Piedmontese (an Italian breed of cow) come with the property. The outbuildings are stocked with top-of-the line tractors, farm equipment, all-terrain vehicles and four wheelers to run the daily operations. But most important of all, the ranch is staffed with talented and gracious employees who love the land and the animals they care for.
