A private horse facility in New Zealand features picturesque property views.
Recently, Harrison Lane completed this modern and comfortable horse property for their client in Clevedon, Auckland. The family’s relaxing home provides a space to enjoy their time with the horses.
Prior to the build, the property was a blank canvas with no existing structures. Harrison Lane oversaw the site from concept to construction, which took approximately 24 months. The layout of the property is functional, aesthetically pleasing and peaceful. It includes an arena, riding track, main barn with a two-bedroom apartment and separate storage barn. Harrison Lane was the single point of contact for the family, keeping the project streamlined and on track during the entire process.

Attached to the main barn is a luxurious two-bedroom apartment on the second story with a spacious, open living plan designed for entertaining. The living space opens to a covered deck showcasing the beautiful rolling hills and riding arena below.
Every last detail in the home has been carefully curated with a rich color palette, materials and finishes to create a luxurious, restful feel.
Ebb & Flow Arena
The Ebb & Flow arena provides a dream surface to ride and the surrounding perimeter riding track offers a perfect warm up and cool down space outside of the arena. These are two of the family’s favorite features. The mother and daughter enjoy riding a variety of disciplines, including jumping. The 70 x 40 meter arena has GGT Fibre and black sand performance footing. The arena is also elevated, offering a beautiful overview of the farm and surrounding property.
The main barn is a fourth generation version of Harrison Lane’s High Grove barn design blended with the family’s color preferences and details to create the perfect structure. The additional barn for storage and runs were designed to match seamlessly with the profile of the leading barn.
The outdoor runs are equipped with mats to provide a comfortable surface for the horses. The surrounding driveway is composed of a fine aggregate metal, common in New Zealand.
Behind the main stable, a truck shed supports the stable facilities with additional implement storage and runs for the horses.
There are four spacious stalls connected to outdoor runs to offer the horses protection during bad weather. Next to the feed and storage room, a well-appointed tack room offers a place for everything.
Tack Room
A family favorite hangout space is the tack room, it’s an inviting spot to relax and talk after a ride.
