Welcome to La Hache’s world-class polo facilities to practice, play, and unwind.
La Hache Polo Club is a state-of-the-art equestrian facility nestled within the sprawling, verdant landscape of General Rodríguez. Recently completed in 2024, by the renowned architectural firm CFO Arquitectura. Brought to life through the unwavering trust and support of owner and founder Hilario Ulloa, La Hache Polo Club stands as a true sanctuary for the equestrian community – a place where the spirit of the sport is honored and cultivated within its pristine grounds and world-class amenities.

The elegant, O-shaped structures showcase a lush, central garden serving as a focal point within the collectively designed group of buildings. The stately white and gray buildings boast an air of refined sophistication, providing passionate polo players and club enthusiasts a comfortable destination to pursue their passions and be with the horses.
The open and airy barns are made with natural elements of stone, metal, and wood – with a total of 37 stalls.
The climate in Buenos Aires is generally humid and warm, with little rainfall throughout the year. The open and covered stables provide shelter from the sun and wind.
Main Tack Room
There are six tack rooms at La Hache, including this beautifully designed main tack room, centrally located within the stables. With its bold black and white checkered ceiling, moody black walls, and double walls of glass windows – it’s an unforgettable space.
Sleek black metal hardware for saddles and bridles fill the room.
The other five tack areas are working tack rooms. Two are for hired professional polo players, equipped with space for mallets and other polo match equipment that they may bring. The other three tack rooms are for daily use by the grooms, storing tack that is used regularly.
This area is the veterinary room which is adjacent to the main tack room.
The Apartments
The stable has four apartments, three for grooms and one for the owner. The owner’s suite is located on the upper floor, in the middle of the stable, overlooking the central garden.
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse continues the theme of glass windows and looks stunning inside and out.
CFO contributed to the clubhouse’s modern gaucho style interior design, overseeing the construction and decoration of each space. Inside, the clubhouse is sophisticated with an Argentine identity. The magical area consists of three spaces, the dining area, directly connected to the kitchen, then the living room, the central space that opens onto the green heart of the stables through glass-paneled openings interrupted by a wood-burning stove. Finally, at the other end, is the bar area with a pool table.
The black walls of the clubhouse were made with cement and black ferrite. Once they were finished, they were waxed to give them a glossy finish. It was a trial-and-error process to achieve the perfect look which was also achieved in the main tack room.
Thank you CFO Arquitectura for sharing this project with Stable Style. Be sure to also see La Fe Polo Club completed by CFO as well.
