This state of the art equestrian facility offers horsemanship, classical dressage, hunter jumper, pleasure lessons, trail rides and more for all levels of riders.
Welcome to JohnMel Stables, located at Deerfield Manor in the tranquil township of Puslinch, Ontario. This newly constructed horse barn and indoor arena was built in 2021 by HFH Inc.
Inside, the barn has 19 12′ x 12′ stalls with dutch doors, a tack room, grooming and wash stalls, two viewing areas with a full kitchen, fireplace and lounges looking into a spacious indoor arena. The attention to details inside the barn are aesthetically pleasing and contribute to the barn’s functionality.
A coordinated color theme of black and dark brown ties everything together. The spacious center aisle is lined with black rubber pavers to provide a safe, non-slip surface.
The barn owners opted for System Equine’s Nobleman stalls topped with gold finials and door arches for elegant stalls.
Each stall is equipped with its own watering system. The on and off lever is located on the exterior of the stall so the horse cannot access it.
Under each hanging bucket, a small pipe is mounted to the stall, offering a quick and easy way to fill up buckets without dragging a hose through the barn or splashing heavy buckets down the aisle.
Grooming & Wash Stalls
The grooming stalls are beautifully divided, offering custom wooden shelving to hold brushes, conditioner, hoof oil, supplies and saddles.
The entire barn is well lit with recessed lighting, especially in the grooming and wash stalls.
The wash stalls have non-permeable Tuffboard on the walls and include coiled hoses for ease of use.
This impressive chandelier was handmade by a friend to match the barn’s aesthetic.
Tack Room
The tack room is well equipped with individual lockers and storage options for riders taking lessons or visiting their horse.
Viewing Area & Indoor Arena
The viewing area gives parents and guests of the riders a place to comfortably watch a lesson or training session.
The 200′ ×100′ arena is filled with premiere no dust footing from the Royal Winter Fair.
Exterior Details
Each stall has a set of exterior dutch doors for the horses to look outside when they are not outside enjoying pasture or turnout.
