Evago Equestrian Center is located in Novi Zagreb, just 5 km (less than 3 miles) from Arena Zagreb. The pristine facility offers riding lessons for all levels of students, boarding and training. This beautiful facility was recently brought to Stable Style’s attention by Karla, who rides here.
The facility has an indoor and outdoor riding arena, 53 stalls, several paddocks, a horse walker, two wash stalls with a solarium, a comfortable café and spacious parking lot. The grounds were recently completed in December of 2018. Evago’s owner and director, Goran Golubiček is the mastermind behind the design and architecture of the buildings.
The riding arenas are well-maintained and have the best possible ground. The footing is composed of quartz sand mixed with cut textiles to provide softness and quality to the arena. The arena specifications are based on the well-known Ebbe-Flut system. The arenas have a fully automated irrigation system and bottom drainage. The humidity levels are constantly being measured with sensors and controlled by a computer system, 24/7. Excess water is automatically drained via the pipe system.
The horse walker can accommodate eight horses at once.
The barn has a total of 53 stalls. There are 27 small stalls and 26 large stalls. Each stall has a window view of the outdoors.
Even the covered riding arena is closely monitored for humidity. If the footing becomes too dry from strong sunlight or warm weather, it’s immediately replaced from the system below.
Café
The inviting café offers boarders and their guests a place to enjoy a cup of coffee and socialize before or after a ride. It offers a view of the indoor arena for guests to sit and watch.
The seating area extends to the outside where there is a view of the outdoor arena.
