Eagle Free Ranch Embraces its History with a New Barn

This beautiful ranch has been around since the 1800s.

Eagle Free Ranch is a welcoming and well maintained horse property situated in Steyerberg, Germany. The ranch is managed by Danny Reinkehr and Philipp Dammann. Eagle Free Ranch has been around since the 1800s and has been a proud part of Danny’s family for generations. It has been called Eagle Free Ranch since 1987. Danny and Philipp both ride western and are active competitors, showing throughout Europe.

Barn Interior

As the ranch aged, it was time to make changes to modernize the ranch. This meant it was time to build a new barn. Philipp took an active role in designing the barn. His father helped him plan and supervised the building process. The old courtyard and original stalls brought a lot of inspiration to the new barn. The goal was to create a new space that fit with the rest of the historic buildings and thoughtful landscaping on the grounds. The barn’s aesthetic needed to be updated to reflect the history of the property while making a functional, state-of-the-art facility.

The new training stable has 14 stalls inside.

Tack Room

One of Philipp’s favorite features is the spacious tack room. It offers a place for everything, imperative for keeping an organized training facility. The clients have a separate tack room with small cupboards for storing anything they need to bring with them to the barn.

Riding Spaces

The ranch has three separate outdoor riding arenas, a trail course under the Oak trees, a round pen, lunging area and covered riding arena. Everything is surrounded by nature and thoughtful landscaping.
