I have an obsession with small barns, maybe it’s because I know I’ll never own (or want to) a massive boarding facility or training stable. Sure, I love to look at those impressive facilities but it’s so refreshing to see small barns that don’t skimp out on style or design.
This two stall barn in Lucas, Texas was built by Pierce Remodeling Group. It features two 12 x 12 foot box stalls for the horses with front and back windows that open for air circulation. The barn also has a tack room with full-sized doors that allow access for unloading hay, there are lofts above the stalls.
The barn has cross ties and water off of the front side porch. I would say this small barn has it all – function, style, and charm.
