Caroline Towning is a contemporary equine artist currently living in London. She grew up near Harrogate in Yorkshire and lived a life filled with horses and dogs. Her mother was an equestrian and put Caroline in the saddle early in life so it’s no surprise that her passion for horses bloomed into a career.
Caroline mainly works on large-scale horse paintings on canvas. Her main medium is oil, but she also does a series of watercolour sketches before starting any new painting.
