This equestrian property is beautiful inside and out!
When Sweetgrass Equestrian enlisted HFH Inc. to give them the barn of their dreams, they delivered. This 5 star facility features plenty of thoughtful details throughout. The stunning boarding stable in Ontario is nestled in Halton Hills.
The property was once home to a tired 10-stall barn with a small arena. This meant there were renovations to be done plus a large addition for hay and shavings. The existing building was striped down to the frame and heavily re-enforced. All new insulation and cladding was installed. Presently the prestigious barn has 26 stalls.
The exterior grounds were given several nice updates as well. There are two brand new outdoor arenas – an olympic sized dressage arena and a large jumping arena. Other outdoor improvements included a large concrete manure pad, new septic system, larger driveways, more parking and a better drainage system. All new PVC Flex Rail fences were installed along with underground paddock electricity and frost free paddock water (both drinking posts & manual feed hydrants).
24 custom tack lockers feature brass hardware and custom stain.
Riding Spaces
The enlarged indoor dressage arena is olympic sized (20 meters x 60 meters) and features dust-free synthetic fibre footing.
Relax and get comfortable in the 36′ x 36′ viewing area with a full kitchenette. There are also two bathrooms, a dedicated barn office and laundry room with commercial size equipment.
The Stalls
The beautiful stall kits are by System Equine in Rockwood, Ontario.
The barn is equipped with in-floor heat in each interior room along with the aisles. Other features include a customized fully automated ventilation system, surround sound system, 40 plus high definition cameras (one per stall), and trusses designed for solar panels on the exterior.
The barn aisles feature hard concrete in-lay pavers. Stunning stone and timber accents are found throughout the space. Thoughtful design details include coach lights and the client’s collection of equestrian art.
There are three grooming stalls with storage for brushes and supplies.
These photos were taken before additional finishing touches were added. Pavement was added to all driveways and parking areas, appliances were installed and signage was added inside and out. A cell boosting tower and new internet was installed. There are also plans to add a second level end-view viewing area with glass railings.
