Cavaliere Couture was founded in May of 2018 by Lela Reynolds, fusing together her passion for riding and yoga to create comfortable riding tights for everyday wear. She immediately started making her Grand Prix Riding Tights in black and had a few other offerings online. Fast forward several years and Lela has continued to grow Cavalier Couture into a witty and fresh brand with many new products.

Lela’s popular riding tight collection has expanded to offer new colors and fun prints.

“Cheetah and Black Snakeskin are the two newest prints, and my customers are loving them! As for solids – grey and green are brand new, but they are going as fast as they come so I’m getting in gear to bring some new colors in,” Lela said. “I’m working on bringing in a deep purple and a dark floral print before the holidays. I am especially excited about the dark floral because no other riding tight company has done a dark floral, so it will be very unique. I can’t wait to debut it!”

Cavaliere Couture focuses on including equestrians of all sizes when it comes to sizing.

“Body positivity is super important for me. Sizing goes up to Size 22! It’s important to me especially in a world where a thin body type is glorified to make other body types feel and look their best both in and out of the saddle!”

Of course, basic black isn’t going anywhere and is a fan favorite. The Grand Prix Riding Tight in black goes with everything and is perfect to create a traditional and comfortable look. Each pair of tights features a high waist, dual side pockets for your cell phone, horse treats or other accessories. Lela’s new products come from a result of self-expression and desire to expand.

“Every company eventually wants growth, and I think I just really wanted to get creative. Obviously my tights are my mainstay, but I started doing the tops as a creative outlet (the sayings are so fun to come up with), and it just went from there. Coming up with sayings for candles, scents, designing new products, it just all keeps me on my toes.”

The days are busy for Lela, filled with horses and hard work.

“I start my morning with a cup of coffee and some barn time with my horses! From there, I have to get back to ‘real life’ and I begin by going through the Cavaliere Couture social media to answer comments, etc. After that I process orders, get them shipped off, and then I get to creating! I work on new products, I work on marketing materials, and all of the other necessary aspects of running a business. I also own and operate a marketing firm called #SocialExchange Marketing, so my days are pretty hectic.”
