Reitanlage Hubertushof is a picturesque property located in Kerpen, nearby Cologne, Germany.
About six years ago, Sophie and her husband Christian started the makeover of their farm and began building a stable for the horses. The goal was to provide a tranquil learning environment for talented horses and ambitious dressage riders.
The husband and wife team designed everything on their own and used local materials for the buildings. Rain water is collected from all roof tops around the farm and is recycled for use around the farm.
Reitanlage Hubertushof has stalls for up to 20 horses along with plenty of pasture and paddocks to ensure daily turnout for the athletes in all weather conditions. The brick stable is stunning.
Christian & Sophie live on the property and focus on training their own horses daily along with student’s horses. Full service boarding is offered for horses in training as well.
Christian has been involved with training the horses and riders on the farm for years. He completed his training with renowned instructor Jan Nivelle in Kaarst and then worked for the Lüttgen family on “Gut Mödrath”, an internationally oriented dressage stable in Kerpen.
In the summer of 2010 Christian received the Xenophon Prize for the RC Gut Keuschhof in the category S dressage test. Since 2013, Christian constantly performs many different dressage courses and coaches his students at tournaments in the Rhineland to heavy class.
Reitanlage Hubertushof has an indoor and outdoor arena. The short side of the indoor is completely mirrored and is well-lit for training. The outdoor arena has an irrigation system to help manage the footing along with flood lights for the ability to ride at night.

Shelters offer cover from wind and rain and there are automatic waterers located in the paddocks and pastures.
Along with daily turnout and riding, there is also a treadmill available for the horses that can added to the training routine.
Sophie grew up on a farm and comes from an agricultural background. Reitanlage Hubertushof grows their own hay for their horses, ensuring the best quality.
