August is fading into Autumn and soon it will be time for pumpkin spice everything, hot cocoa and fuzzy ponies. Embrace the season with a festive fall barn tour from Lone Pine Stable and get inspired to decorate. Thank you for sharing Jodi!
If this red barn looks familiar, perhaps you’ve seen glimpses of it on Jodi’s Instagram account, @jodisargentphotography. Jodi’s creative mind captures the fall spirit perfectly with these photos.
Jodi’s private barn is located in Indiana. She started riding 25 years ago and became an equestrian at age 13. Over the years she tried every discipline from barrel racing to dressage, eventing, polo, and hunter/jumpers. Today she primarily focuses on hunter/jumpers.
Jodi’s picturesque nine acre property is completely fenced in with trails scattered throughout the woods, a sizable pond and cross country jumps.
Each fall Jodi and her husband Cory buy mums and pumpkins from a farmer down the road to celebrate the season. She dresses up her front porch, barn and even the jumps in the arena.
The beautiful lanterns are from Target’s home and garden section. The candles are powered with batteries so they are safe for the barn and create a magical ambiance. The outdoor pillows were made by her mother-in-law and the burlap pillow is from The Burlap Pony.

The three-stall barn has 12′ x 12′ stalls with attached runs that are open all day and night. Jodi and Cory designed their barn together. They put down their vision on paper and brought the measurements to a local Amish barn builder to turn it into a reality. Cory did the electric and plumbing work himself. LED lighting runs throughout the barn.
Along with three stalls, the barn has storage in the back for hay, bagged shavings and the tractor. There is additional hay storage next to the grooming space, both are 12′ x 12′.
Here is a glimpse into the tack room. It’s Jodi’s favorite feature about her barn. It’s cozy and inviting, a happy place to spend hours cleaning tack and escaping from the rest of the world.

The 100′ x 200′ outdoor arena has limestone footing with drain tiles below the surface. This provides ideal footing, even after a rain storm.
