One of my favorite things about running the @StableStyle Instagram account is getting a chance to look into everyone’s gorgeous barns. I’ve followed Winding Oaks Equestrian Center on Instagram for a while and am so thrilled to share this beautiful property with you.
Winding Oaks Equestrian Center is a brand new hunter/jumper training facility located in Brooksville, Florida. Everything here is new – from the barns, to the driveways, jumps, and fencing. The property was just a lot of land before it came to be WOEC.
Then entire property is 71 acres and features a main barn, sale/lesson barn, and a small four stall quarantine barn in the back for a combined total of 30 stalls.
The facility is built on 17.5 acres and the remaining 53 acres of land behind the paddocks is fenced in for private trail riding.
The horses who live here are very lucky to have such nice stables.
I asked Mindy from WOEC about one of her favorite features of the property and she said it was the arena’s footing. She shares, “We have Martin Collins USA footing in our covered arena. I had them come in and completely strip the topsoil. We have six inches of lime silt base for drainage. They topped the base with clean sifted silica sand mix along with double the fiber and cloth than any other competitor that I had researched. It is phenomenal to ride on!”

A happy horse looking outward.
