I first discovered Erin Kate when I started follow her Instagram account @silveroaksfarm. It was easy to fall in love with with her clean and curated equestrian lifestyle feed. She has been a professional photographer for over ten years and has ridden horses her entire life.
Recently Erin Kate opened an Etsy shop to sell her photographs. The current offerings include prints and tea towels. I’m sharing a few of my favorites here.
Mane – featuring a horse at a farm in Middleburg, Virginia.
Jumping Saddle – an original photograph with a watercolor effect.
Abstract Bay – a horse on a farm in Middleburg, Virginia.
Beauty – an original photograph with a watercolor effect applied.
Gray Boys – featuring two horses in the pasture.
Be sure to check out Erin’s Etsy shop to see more!

Selling locally means selling to the people who live nearby. Selling on Etsy means selling to the world. It 100% depends on where you feel comfortable and how large you want to grow. There is absolutely no right or wrong answer to this question. 🙂 For my family, Etsy is our only source of income. It took years to build our shop to this point though, so just keep in mind, success on Etsy is about the work you put in. I hope this helps!
